50th week Happy Birthday Hannah and Happy Father's Day!

Monday Sister Harvey had a dentist appointment. We were with her trainer for most of the day.

Tuesday we went to ACS. Ate lunch. And then. . . We went to the temple with Vanessa and Angel! It was awesome, we took a tour of the visitors center and took a lot of pictures. They both loved it! They have baptismal dates for the 25th. :) Had a lesson with Vanessa. Went to dinner. Went on splits.

Wednesday we went to Open Heart. Had District Meeting. Had a lesson with Vanessa. Tried to see some people. Went to dinner. Went on Splits. Saw the Richeys.

Thursday we went to set up an appointment to get an oil change and brake check. Ate lunch. Did weekly planning. Had a lesson with Vanessa.Saw Jessica. Went to dinner. Splits didn't work out and our appointment cancelled. Went on exchanges.

Friday Sister Hughes and I went to a baptism in Fremont. Came back and she did language study. Had a lesson with Vanessa. Went to Fremont, saw Jaque. :) Went to an ASL dinner. :)

Saturday we had a correlation meeting with the elders. Did weekly planning. Went to dinner. Went on splits. Came home and finished weekly planning.

Sunday was Fathers Day! :) Church all day, then we tried to visit people and went to dinner.

The week was awesome, because we are preparing for Vanessa and Angel (elders in livermore are teaching her even though she is YSA) to be baptized this coming saturday. :)

week 49 - 11 months!

Monday we went hiking with the livermore zone. Emailed, went shopping. Planned for a lesson. Played a game called Missionary Impossible with the elders. Went to dinner and a lesson.

Tuesday we went to ACS. Helped a YSA move. Went to dinner. Went on splits, and I went to a YSA meeting in livermore.

Wednesday we went to Open Heart. Had district meeting. Went to Vanessa's lesson. Went to dinner. Saw Brittany. Went with the beehives to do a chalk plan of salvation.

Thursday we went to the livermore ZTM. Ate lunch. Started weekly planning. President Mella came to inspect our apartment - they are inspecting all of them in the mission. Had a meeting about our ZTM. ate dinner. Went on splits.

Friday we had ZTM. Met with Vanessa. Did more weekly planning. went to dinner. Went on splits again.

Saturday we went to the sealing of a family that sister Harvey taught in Fremont. I had never been to a live person sealing and it was really cool. Especially when their ten year old was sealed to them. Lots of pictures. :) there were four sisters who used to serve in the mission who had taught the family who came back. finished weekly planning. Tried to visit people. Went to dinner. Went on splits.

Sunday we went to church. Tried to see people, went to dinner. Drove to San Jose.

Today we went with Sister Mella to Hollister for a dentist appointment sister Harvey had. Went to fix my ipad screen - thank you family and sorry. went to lunch with the recent convert family who got sealed on saturday. went home and met up with sister Harveys trainer.

SOOOOO we have a date with Vanessa for the 26th of June. A member brought her to church and she is living with that member family (great environment for her!) and she is studying the lessons before we come. So amazing! She is so prepared! We are going to the Oakland Visitors center with her on tuesday. :)

I have somehow been on my mission for 11 months. (haha same as my favorite doctor lol) IT IS CRAZY. It is really hard to believe that I have actually been away that long.

week 48 hiking, exchanges and hiking

Monday we did laundry. Shopping. Emailed. Went on a late hike - too hot! Went to a meeting. Ate dinner. Went to FHE.

Tuesday we had Sister Whitaker with us for exchanges. Sister Harvey had a dentist appointment somewhere far from us, so we went to the Mellas overnight. President did companionship study with me and Sister Whitaker. Went home and she did language study. Saw Brother Wilson. Saw the Ferrins. Saw the Tukuafus. Saw Ryan. Went to dinner, which had a super spiritual message. Went to institute. Taught Li Li a little.

Wednesday we did Open Heart. Went to "Princess Training" (there are a lot of well off people here and so we need manners and social graces). Went biking, tried to see people. Went to dinner. Saw Brittany.

Thursday went to Open Heart. Had a district lunch then District Meeting. More biking trying to see people. Saw Jessica. Saw the Brownlows. Went on splits. Saw a new move in.

Friday I was on exchanges in Fremont because Sister Harvey had a meeting in San Jose. Went to ACS. Ate lunch, did language study. Went with a member to see Bill and LaRue. Went up to pleasanton - the drive was so traffic. Saw Sandra. Went to dinner. Saw the Rasts, a new move in.

Saturday we did weekly planning, with some service for the veterans hall in between. Went to dinner.

Sunday went to church. Yay testimony day! We did a Zone fast for a baptism in June. Tried to see some people. Went to dinner. Went finding.

Today we went on another hike, with another zone as well. Whoohoo.

week 47 exchanges and more exchanges

Monday  was a super relaxing pday. Did extra studies cause we could, I played the piano for an hour and a half. We sent some letters. Ate dinner. Went to the YSA FHE where they were playing kickball. . . and then we went to exchanges.

Tuesday I was in Fremont with Sister Jones. We went to Shinn Park. Helped a member clean part of the church. Ate lunch, saw a couple of people. Jaque, my recent convert, was our dinner!! :) Drove back to Pleasanton.

Wednesday was zone conference. LONG but amazing. We are going to start bringing people immediately to the Sacred Grove - meaning, testifying when contacting about the sacred grove to at least five people every day. Also we are all striving, every companionship in the mission, to have a baptism in June. Went to dinner. Went to a farewell party.

Thursday we went to open heart - and they gave me like ten kiwi. :D We went biking, met some less actives and found two new investigators. Went to teach an adorable kid for the 8 Initiative - what we call teaching the 7 turning 8 year old members whom we teach. Went to dinner. Went to visit Dom (short for Dominique). Went home for exchanges.

Friday Sister Valdez was with us all day . . . . and I took like 200 pictures that day. :) We went to open heart. Saw Sister Buckholz. Tried to see people. Went contacting - with three people it was kindof weird. People were less open. Went to dinner (sweet tomatoes! yay for endless salad!). Went to the badminton event, there were around 50nonmembers there. . . Exchanged back. (the elders we cocover with forgot their phone on the stage at the event. . . I picked it up and we got it back to them)

Saturday we did studies. Received the text of no more sports - too many people getting hurt. Tried to see some referrals. Saw Sandra. Ate lunch. Helped fill up the font for a member kid baptism and did weekly planning. Ate dinner, finished weekly planning.

Sunday we went to church and there were three farewell talks. Lili, one of the investigators we found, came to church. We taught Primary in sharing time about family history. :) Tried to see referrals. Went to dinner.

Also, no we are not affected by the pants and long skirts. :( sad. . . I really wanted to wear long skirts. I don't really care about the pants.
